On The Recent Fabrications Made By A Number Of Suspicious and Discredited Groups Against the Leaders Of The General Union of Oil Employees (GUOE) A statement issued by suspicious groups contains numerous fabrications such as accusing leaders of GUOE as being Baath Party (former regime) members, in order to induce people to physically liquidate these leaders because of their stance against the draft oil law that was established by the US giant corporation The prevalent tradition and justification to get rid of political opponents in today's Iraq ("the new Iraq" as the pro-occupation puppets like to call it); is to fabricate false stories about their opponents of being members of Baath Party to pave the road for the sectarian gangs to massacre them later. Those sectarian groups killed thousands of innocent people and their rivals in broad daylight under the same headings in order to impose their power. For instance, in the road leading to the southern regions in Iraq people can see banners bearing the same meanings such as "whoever violates the oil law or opposes Almaliki government is Ba'athist" which means an explicit invitation to kill and liquidate anyone who violates the occupation forces and its puppet government. The brothers Hassan Jumaa, Faleh Abboud and Abdullah Al-Maliki... who are the leaders of GUOE are also leaders of Iraq Freedom Congress and the struggle of GUOE to thwart the passage of a draft oil bill is part of IFC struggle to topple this ominous law. The call for inciting directly and indirectly, to suppress the opponents of the law of servitude will be resisted with all possible forms by Iraq Freedom Congress. These suspicious fabrications will not be able to stop the struggle of the people who yearn for freedom and will not be able to stop the growing movement to realize a world without occupation and sectarian gangs. Iraq Freedom Congress condemns these fabrications and accusations and stands firmly with full potential and energies to defend the leaders' safety and security and to protect their dignity.
