On Al-Maliki and Bush Agreement The media have revealed that an agreement between the US President George W. Bush and the loyal to occupation Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki is concluded. This agreement commits the US forces to remain in Iraq for a longer term. Al-Maliki in a statement to the media justified the agreement by stating that such agreement will end the international trusteeship on Iraq. The agreement, which was praised and agreed upon by Al-Maliki only; transforms Iraq into a base from which the US administration launches its expansionist policies and imposes its economic and political projects. This agreement which Nuri al-Maliki is trying to hoodwink the people; will put Iraq under the tutelage of the US administration, its armies, intelligence, spies and repressive policies, and will stifle and suppress all libertarian voices and aspiring to freedom and equality movements; in addition to destabilizing Iraq and the entire region. Al-Maliki signed this agreement to maintain his position on top of the government by obtaining the support of the US administration after his government lost its legal foundation and legitimacy following the resignation of more than half of the ministers. Therefore; Al-Maliki held Iraq hostage in the hands of the US army and espionage bases forever. What is happening in Iraq of killing, looting, sectarian crimes, attracting all armies of the region to jeopardize people security and safety, and transforming Iraq into an arena for settling accounts, is the US responsibility. This agreement has come to perpetuate this policy that is responsible for all those horrors. Iraq Freedom Congress condemns this agreement and pledges Iraqis and libertarian forces of the world to continue the struggle to expel the occupation and resolve all its institutions. No security or stability in Iraq and the region without ending the occupation.
