Founding Statement

The Loyal To Occupation Troops Can't Stand the Anti Occupation Voices

once again the government forces violate the human rights in Iraq by arresting Rasheed Ismael (Iraq Freedom Congress executive bureau member) while he was distributing a pamphlet in which he was denouncing the siege and massacres committed by the US and Iraqi troops on the people of Althwra disitrict (East of Baghdad).

On this incident Iraq Freedom Congress held a press conference attended by many news media to expose the human rights violations of the occupying troops and their puppet government when they arrested Rrasheed Ismael because of distributing brochures.

In the press conference, Subhi Albadri, president of General Federation of Workers Councils and Unions in Iraq (GFWCUI) spoke about the sheer lies of the occupation regarding bringing freedom and democracy to Iraq while they cannot tolerate a leaflet that denounces crimes committed against humanity. He also mentioned all sorts of violations to human rights in the past 5 years which they have never been accounted for.

It is noteworthy that Iraq freedom Congress will launch an international campaign to release Rasheed Ismael as soon as possible.

Iraq freedom Congress calls on all libertarian forces, humanitarian and human rights organizations to support the release of Rasheed Ismael immediately.
