We OPEN Japan pay respect for your powerful and persistent struggle for women’s liberation and equality, and send our hurtful, solidarity message to your Meeting for International Women’s Day

 

We Open will also hold our 3/8 International Women’s Day Gathering in 2009 under the title of

-       Make Up our world without War nor Poverty with solidarity of IFC, Iraqi women, Afghanistan Women, Palestinian Women, Philippine Women and USA women-

We will hold this year’s women’s Day in the midst of our struggle against global capitalism. Almost 6 years have passed since the occupation has began in Iraq.  But voices demanding for stop occupation right now  are increasing every corner of the world. Struggle for women’s liberation are going on under the occupied Iraq, Afghanistan and Gaza.

 

Domestically, in Japan, part time workers, mostly are women, are dismissed unreasonably day by day on the pretext of recession.  But we women are fighting to live humanly and work lively. 

 

To the gathering of this year, we will invite woman activist from Iraq IFC. We will receive her report of criminal against women in Iraq. We thank you for sending us your delegate to us in the middle of harsh circumstances.

 

We will promote women’s liberation to

 

 Build our strong campaign against honorable killing and realize equality for women.

 Stop Israeli invasion to Gaza.

 Withdraw occupation forces from Iraq and Afghanistan.

 Fight against Poverty and Dismissal in the world.
