Bringing Down the Pro Occupation Government Is the Only Way to Achieve Freedom, Security, and Prosperity
Iraqi people, the results of the phoney election has not been declared yet, however the current government has decided to make the people bear the cost of the war and occupation to conceal its corruption by increasing the prices of all kinds of fuel by double. This current government has failed miserably to bring security, social services and employment for the last 11 months of its age. It didn’t have the courage to carry out this decree until after the election was held, terrified of people resentments that swept everywhere in the country which make them unable to get the people vote for them. Iraqi people, The past few days has clearly proven that this government is incapable of withstanding your anger without the support of the occupying troops and armed militia. In Kirkuk for example the US troops have intervened to contain the mass anger directed towards the government in response to its decision during a wide spread demonstration. In the southern cities the national guards have settled the issue using force, and in Kurdistan the ethnic militias attempted to arrest the leaders and the activists of these demonstrations. This government has tried to deceive you to cast the ballot in December 15, 2005 for their own interests to carry on the occupation agenda and to continue steeling off your wealth while the insecurity, unemployment, disease, poverty are digging into your bodies. Iraqi people, You have gotten no choice but to stick with who fights for your security, freedom, prosperity and ending the occupation. Pumping up the fuel prices, abolishment of the ration coupon, decreasing the value of the Iraqi currency, and finally privatization… are all of the occupation plan to implement the International Monetary Fund (IMF) conditions who is headed by the previously pentagon leaders who plotted this war. As it is not enough of killing hundreds of thousands of Iraqis, not enough of destruction of the civil life and converting Iraq into a place looks like lived by ghosts, not enough of imposition of climates of fears on the society, and not enough of deepening the ethnic and sectarian conflict to replicate Kosovo and Rwanda genocide, they are attempting to impose slow death on millions of people caused by starvation and poverty. Iraq Freedom Congress is the efficient tool to end these conditions. Join it, organize yourself in its ranks and speak out of its slogan “Security, Freedom, and Prosperity”. Without ending the occupation and dissolving its subsidiaries, the stability and freedom will be impossible.
