IFC declares its support to the Modern Discussion Webpage

We have learned from the board of editors of the Modern Discussion website that the page was attacked by unknown people. In fact it is an act that occurs frequently and the perpetrators remain anonymous. The purpose of this crime is to shut down the website.

The MD has grown to represent a real threat to the oppressive regimes who cannot survive without the suppression of freedom and liquidation of opponents because the freedom of speech in reality undermines these regimes and questions their authorities.

The MD has become one of the most resourceful website in which libertarian and leftist ideology are promoted where it is badly needed in the Arabic speaking countries. As IFC denounces this act, it declares its full support to MD by all means.

 Defending MD is defending the freedom of speech and opinion, defending progressiveness that is essential for every society.
