Why Should IFC Have A Satellite TV

IFC is a mass organization who intends to bring the Iraqi people together with the support of the international solidarity to boot out the US troops, end the occupation and end the oppression of the terrorist groups of Zarqawi and the others.

Its daily tactics carried out through mobilizing people, educating and encouraging them to take initiatives to defend themselves, their living places and restoring civility and social services.

Resorting to armed resistance is viewed as a wrong and inappropriate tactic. Besides, Iraqi people have a bitter experience with the armed groups who turned their living neighborhood into battlefield and made it like hell. IFC does not believe in violence and it makes every effort to salvage the people from the US terrorism and the terrorist groups who utilize violence to implement their agenda. Education, seminars, demonstrations, civil disobedience, and mass uprising (similar to the first Palestinian uprising)…are the methods utilized by IFC to end the occupation and building a non-ethnic and non-religious state. Therefore the need to have a satellite TV is essential.

Today’s danger is not the nuclear weapons or weapons of mass destruction, simply because these weapons cannot be used to respond to every tension in the world, not to mention the international pressure to preclude them from being used.

The media however is the most effective weapon among all those. Some even for instance describe the CNN as a sixth state in the UN Security Council due to its ability to falsify truths and effectiveness on the decision makers. George Bush is another example who did not win his second election for his platform and agenda but actually FOX News and Washington Post were the main elements to bring him to power. The west who is dominating the world with its massive economic apparatus and political concepts and ideology decided to close down (AL-MANAR) TV that is belong to Lebanese HIZBUALLAH. They realize that this TV is far more dangerous than they could imagine. Sharon as well could not take over the power unless the media playing an essential role depicting him as a rescuer and without him the security is lost.

Inciting ethnic and religious hatred, soliciting for occupation democracy, and insulting and humiliating human being cannot be confronted unless educating and stepping up people awareness.

Confronting terrorism does not come through military or intelligent operation, giving the fact that the US army and its huge machinery could not preclude the military operation aimed towards its troop and causing these massive losses.

Tackling terrorism can be done only by using political, social, and informational means. The occupation and ethnic and religious conflict are sweeping the Iraqi society; we must deal with these issues through media.

Establishing this TV will convert IFC into a massive organization that includes millions of people. It will earn the trust of people. People will say IFC is a serious organization that is formed to save the Iraqi people from the tragic situations created by the occupation.

We need the support of every human who desire a better world, a human who does not want the repetition of 9/11 in the United States and July 7^th in England. What happens in Iraq is just a carry on of those incidents.

Every free individual should support our goal to defeat terrorism. This is what we decided in the First international conference in solidarity with IFC in Japan.
