In The Beginning of the New Year, the US Troops Celebrating the Events with Shooting the Iraqi People

For the second consecutive time in two weeks in January 1, 2006 the US troops attacked the people the people of Kirkuk in Rahim Awa and Shorjah districts who took to the streets against the increase of the fuel price that has being increased four times its original price in Kirkuk. Instead of responding to the people needs by providing them with fuel and other social service, the US troops opened fire upon the demonstrators killing four people and wounding eleven others. In retaliation to this ugly crime the demonstrators burnt the building of fuel output center and many gas stations; as a result the US troops arrested many demonstrators and imposed a curfew in the city.

Normally people around the world exchange gifts and flowers in this time of the year, however in Iraq the US troops spread bullets on the starving people. This is the gift they presented. As if it was not enough of what they destroyed, robbed, imposed of the laws of pentagon gangs who chair the IMF to end the government subsidies to fuel and ration, they organize a campaign to suppress the poor people in Iraq. This is the new democracy brought to new Iraq by the US troops following the fiasco of the elections of last year.

People of Kirkuk…Iraq

These are the crimes of the occupation who protects the decrees of Jafari-Talabani Government. This government fills its pocket with your oil revenue while the US troops attempt to shut your mouth to end your resentments. This is the gift of the elections in the New Year.

The time has come to realize the truth of the occupation and its democracy…The time has come to unify yourselves against the occupation’s crimes and it’s appointed puppets.

People of Kirkuk…Iraq

Your enemy is the occupation forces who defend the elimination of subsidies and free market to throw your children to the streets. Do not let the nationalists of all sorts and the sectarians of all forms to disintegrate your union because crimes do not make distinction in targeting any one.
